Ancient Chong Dzi

Dzi, a very powerful sought after and one of  the most collected amulets.

   Size ∼ 24.5mm x 10.5mm  

  This wonderful Bead is often referred to as a ‘Three Colour Chong Dzi’ it is very rare and very desired because of its aesthetic look. 

  This is a superb quality natural opaque Agate with a whitish-creamy colour and an opaque dark brown/caramel middle band and a cloudy, semi opaque end.

   It has a strong, waxy, greasy skin surface that characterizes ancient  pure dzi  beads.

   Perfectly preserved perforations at both ends and surface; small  time covered dings that add to its character and beauty. It has Cinnabar blood spots visible with magnifying  glass. Cinnabar are rarely present in beads, and are considered by researches to be present on beads over 3000 years. In Tibet Cinnabar dots are believed to have healing powers.

   This would be a wonderful bead to wear and collect and provides many ancient beads characteristics that could serve for learning identification.

   Symbol ~ The Band Dzi is desired for its healing abilities, on all parts of the owner’s body and mind and particularly, on the focus the mind in order to create the healing energy needed for healing.

   Because of its ‘focusing’ ability can be used as an object for meditation.
