SUMMARY
Sourced personally during my travels through the remote high-altitude regions of Tibet, this 2-Eye Dzi is a “living” relic of the Silk Road. In the Himalayas, Dzi beads are considered “Heavenly Stones” that fallen from the sky to protect the wearer. This specific bead, with its dual-eye pattern, represents the union of opposites—the sun and moon, or the masculine and feminine. It has been carried for over a century, developing the characteristic “moist” luster and subtle surface weathering that only genuine antique agate can possess.
