SUMMARY
- Sourced personally during my travels through the remote mountainous borderlands, this Pumtek bead is a relic of the “Buried Sun.” Pumtek, which translates to “buried thunderbolt,” is crafted from opalized or fossilized palm wood from millions of years ago. These beads were traditionally decorated by the Chin and Himalayan peoples with patterns representing the natural world. This specific bead has a wonderful, heavy feel and a surface smoothed by over a century of wear, carrying the grounded spirit of the ancient forests into the present day.

Size: Traditional focal bead size (Approx. 15mm – 25mm)

The Highlight: A rare “living fossil” talisman prized for its grounding properties.
