- Sourced personally during my travels through the sacred monastic regions of Tibet, this Chittipati amulet is a striking relic of the tantric path. The Chittipati, or “Lords of the Cemetery,” are depicted as two dancing skeletons, symbolizing the transcendence of the physical body and the liberation from the cycle of birth and death. This piece has been hand-carved from antique bone and has aged to a deep, waxy patina through decades of ritual handling. It is a protective talisman that celebrates the “death of the ego” as the beginning of true spiritual life.
